JULIA LEA is a creative professional with over twenty years of industry experience. After completing her Art Direction and Advertising degree at The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Lea cut her teeth working in premiere Australian advertising agencies, editorial and publishing design, and solo fine-art exhibitions. An ambitious traveller, Lea embraced the opportunity to reside in New York City, and, in 2004, with her unique credentials, was awarded an 01 Visa for ‘a person of extraordinary ability.’
Deep curiosity and passion drive Lea’s professional work. Eager to expand the traditional boundaries of a job title, Lea pursues broad but substantive knowledge of her subjects, strategies, and goals, thus deepening her insight and informing her aesthetic; in turn, her results sing. Lea’s visual narratives tell a rich story that’s strong in design perspective and precise in detail.
